Essay of the "Door in the Wall"

We have to write an essay of a story that might be of "The Door in the Wall" or "The Fly in the Ointment" and it must have 400-500 words.

The “Door in the Wall” by H.G.Wells is a story within a story that narrated the story of Lionel Wallace. Lionel was an insane man and he had a horrible childhood because none of his parents paid attention to him and it was a strange child at school. He became crazy because he wanted to escape from that life, so he imagined a door in a wall in the street, he entered and there was the life that he could not have. The theme is insanity.

This man was really crazy because he thought fictional things such as doors that had paradises for children and enchanted things, so he was really insane. In the part that he entered to the door, he escaped from his own life, he escaped from reality. In all his life he could see the door three times, in some of the chances that he did not enter, he was on a hurry, so he did not do it.

Wallace had a friend called Redmond that did not belief him at first all this story, but then he continued justifying his life, or why he was crazy with the door with his childhood. Wallace knew that all these silly things that he was seeing were a dream, but a very good dream for him because this made him be happy.
He was very alone because his mother was dead, his father was an important lawyer so he did not have time to pay attention to Wallace, and his school friends treated him very badly. His father also punished him just because he saw a crazy door that any child could imagine. He was five years old when he first saw this door, so it was common for a child to imagine these kinds of things and use their creative imagination.

Redmond was like all the readers when he met with Wallace at the restaurant, he was surprised because he did not understand how Wallace could imagine all these magical world, but he finished trusting he finally, he realized that all this was product of his imagination because of Wallace’s sad life. It was an escape for him to be calm.

In conclusion, this story is very recommendable, it was amazing because it was very creative and there were lots of unexpected events. It was difficult for me to understand this story because it had a lot of difficult vocabulary in my opinion. In the end, if you are able to read and understand the story, you will have a lot of intrigue of a character because and unexpected event will happen. You should read this story twice in my view.

Publishing - Short Story

 Write a Short story of 500-600 words. In the short story you have to include a situation of tension between a mother and a son, or a conflict of social classes. The genre of the story must be drama and the tone must be either tragic or melancholic. 

Suicide is a solution

A long time ago, there was a girl called Mary. She was kind, polite and very generous with other people. Her boyfriend was called Tommy, he was a materialist man, he was a drinker (of alcohol) and he loved car races. Mary and Tommy lived in a none beautiful apartments in London because they didn't have too much money to buy or rent a better apartment. They have been living in the poor zone since they were 18 years old. They got married and their relationship started being worse than other days. Mary wanted him to stop drinking and to find a job, so they got divorced. Mary was a weak depressed woman and she started vomiting everyday. She realized that she was going to have a baby so she fell in a worse depression that the first one because obviously, Tommy, the drinker, her ea-husband, was the baby's father. After a few months she knew that she had to tell Tommy that he was the father of his son. Tommy was very surprised because this wasn't in his plans. He didn't want to have a son with Mary so he went to Brazil to live and he found a new girlfriend. This meant that Mary was going to have to take care of her sown on her own. Seven months later, the baby was born, he was called Michael, he grew in poor conditions and he was so aggressive when he was only two years old. Physically, he was very hurt. Mary found a new man in her life. She fell in love with him. The first day that Sam (Mary's boyfriend) want to her house, Michael insulted him and wanted to fight with him because Sam was popular. Sam went out from Mary's house running away. Mary was so angry with Michael. He kicked her and Michael didn't go to see her at the hospital. At the time when Mary went out of the hospital, she was in the ambulance going to her house, feeling so angry that she jumped out from the ambulance and she feel to the river through a bridge. She committed suicide; Michael didn't notice that she had died. He started asking everyone where she was. Nobody knew but the police told him that she committed suicide. He felt that he was an idiot because he could have avoided that situation if he hadn't kicked her. He wanted to praise his mother by studying and being a good person. He couldn't afford the difficult situation, he couldn't even study because he was always thinking that his mother had committed suicide because of his fault. He asked Sam for help but he answered insults to Michael. Nobody wanted to help him because previously he was aggressive and he didn't want to help anyone. To finish this moment of his life, he thought that the only solution was to commit suicide and he thought that he would be with his mother again.

Guerra Kalimeza

Había una vez un animal llamado Kalimez que vivía navegando por los mares Americanos. El Kalimez tenía aspecto raro, de depredador, y era muy grande. Su característica principal, era su pelo, muy suave y colorido. En cuanto a su personalidad, era asesino y dominante.
Un día, Kalimez iba navegando por el mar Argentino y su balsa se desinflaba lentamente. El desesperadamente comenzó a quitar el agua de la balsa y llego el momento en que Kalimez tomo la decisión de saltar. Saltó y la corriente de las olas lo llevo hacia las islas del Mar Caribe. Él estaba muy asustado, no tenía ni la menor idea de donde estaba. Cuando pisó la arena, todos los humanos atemorizadamente gritaban y corrían, mientras que el , estaba concentrado en buscar comida. Cuando encontró el bar del spa, estaba muy confundido. El gigantesco Kalimez empezó a romper todo brutamente con su fuerza mientras los humanos intentaban dejar la isla.
Luego de un par de días, Kalimez comenzó a pensar si él podía ser el dueño del mundo, alimentarse a base de humanos y tenerlos como esclavos. Él sabía que no podía completar el trabajo solo, entonces comenzó a poner huevos. De esta manera en una semana tendría una población de millones de Kalimezes.
Finalmente, lo logró. Su ejército poderoso fue creado. Él estaba muy contento con el plan, ya que iba a ser el rey del mundo y no tendría que esforzarse más. Pero al mismo tiempo pensaba que los humanos estaban destruyendo el mundo, entonces podrían destruir su especie rápidamente. Al pasar unos días, el ya no pensaba más y comenzó a decir que era el día de la guerra, el día en que los Kalimezes iban a dominar el mundo, el día final para los humanos. El sabia manejar botes y balsas, entonces, se dirigió hacia el puerto y tomo todos los botes que había y llevo a toda la población de Kalimezes por el mundo, los distribuyó.
Comenzaron a matar y tomar como prisioneros a los humanos brutalmente. Sin ningún temor, avanzando fácilmente, arrasaban con todo. Al terminar el mes, habían asesinado a una gran cantidad de humanos, el numero era infinito. Pero lo que ellos no sabían era que los humanos estaban preparados para luchar contra estos monstruos. Los monstruos veían que se acercaban vehículos voladores pero no sabían que era. Eran aviones de la fuerza aérea para destrozarlos. Los atacaron por agua tierra y aire. Al pasar unos meses el Kalimez estaba prácticamente extinguido al igual que la mitad de la vida humana. El rey Kalimez había sido capturado para torturarlo. Los restantes monstruos, estaban 100MTS bajo tierra pero los humanos sabían que se iban a enfrentar de nuevo en un futuro no muy lejano.

Publishing - Soliloquy

Our teacher at school, told us to write a soliloquy before the author of "Pied Beauty" wrote that poem, when he take ideas and think about it to write it. It must have 250-300 words.

Soliloquy
Oh, I am Here! Finally I have arrived.  I am sitting at this chair, in the middle of the countryside, only with my folder to take down notes. What a beautiful countryside, it's so amazing. So lovely those trees, those animals on the gate eating, the noise of the wind of the countryside!!! It its so nice. I would like to live here, so peaceful to inspire me to write my poems... It's time to start thinking about what I am going to write about. I might write a poem that would cause an impact on people that will make them reflect about the beautiful dappled things that we have on Earth that will make them realize what world we are living in, that is bad to destroy it. First, I will take notes of all the things that I am seeing. Look  at the finches flying!!! So nice... The cows eating grass at the gate, the dazzle landscape and the sky... Oh look at the animals!!!! They are so strange. I must write a poem connected to God, to make them know who he is, and what he gave us, maybe the beautiful dappled things, I may tell people to thank God for these things. Really, my poem will cause an effect, I am sure that people who read this poem will reflect of what we are doing to the Earth. I am grateful of these things. It's time to connect all these incredible things and interesting ideas to start writing the poem. The poem must include in the first sentence the word "GOD" and it might finish with the words "PRAISE HIM". And in the middle of the poem I must say all the beautiful dappled things, and the lovely landscape that I have seen.This was Gerard Manley Hopkins.

En la clase de Informatica, hicimos un trabajo en Scratch que se llama "Carrera al 20". Es un juego matématico que consiste en llegar al número 20 entre dos jugadores, eligiendo solo los números 1 y 2. Usando todas las funciones del programa, pudimos lograr hacerlo.

Diary Entry

Our teacher told us to think about the poem "A different history" by Sujata Bhatt. We should remember the theme of the poem and write a diary entry as if we were Sujata Bhat in the times in which the British were colonizing India. We must write 250-300 words.

Here is my Diary Entry:

September 15, 1971.

Dear Diary,
Today is a terrible and stressful day. The British are destroying our conuntry because they are imposing their culture. They are murdering us like animals and I am feeling sad and bad because we are disappearing in a way! At the morning they killed a lovely friend because he was against the British colonization. I cried a lot because I hate these idiots that think they are more powerful people, but they are agressive and helpless guys. We are losing our identities, culture, language and our traditions. Before the British problem, we were really happy, free, each person was with their religion and we studied. But now, we are being destroyed practically. They are abusing of us, I really don't know how this is happening and who the British think that they are. They had taken our ideas, knowledge, identities, they stole us. I had a lot of plans, but what can I do? We are dissappearing. At the afternoon they announced that India is British property. Oh god! That really made me feel so angry... Also, they told us that if we didn't do what they wanted, we would die, we would be murdered. So... we are trying to hide from them, now I am on bed, not happy, and not sad because we will never have peace. I really don't want to be at this place, I am tired and annoyed at this situation, I would like all this to be solved by someone, the man who solves this problem, will be my hero.

Kalimez

Se ha descubierto una nueve especie en La Tierra muy exótica. Habita en el fondo del Océano Atlántico y hay una pequeña probabilidad de que habite en las selvas donde abundan los ríos. Esta especie se caracteriza por ser parecida a un pez a diferencia de que el Kalimez tiene pelo muy suave y dos patas y el pez no.

Apariencia Física y hábitos.

Con respecto a sus habitos, esta especie asesina a todo herbívoro que observa, lo asesina y se alimenta de él. Aparte, podemos destacar que siempre viven en manada.
Esta especie, vive aproximadamente 250 años y mide practicamente 1,5M de Altura. Tiene ojos muy claros y llamativos y su pelo es de color azul, amarillo, naranja y marrón, y atractivo para otras especies.

Creación de la especie.

Se creé que esta especie, se creo debido a peces en el océano Atlántico que recibieron una radiación nuclear y muy concentrada de una industria, o producto arrojado que se dispersó dentro del mar. Gracias a la radiación, el Kalimez es abundante en todo el mundo.

Reproducción y cambios.

Existen distintos tipos de esta especie el Kalimez, que es macho y la Kalimeza, que es hembra. Esta especie es fertil es decir que se aparean y pueden tener hijos. Al nacer el individuo, mide 0,50cm de largo, y luego comienza a crecer a medida que transcurren los años. Se estima que al año 13, no crece más. Otro cambio muy importante y para destacar es que sus brazos se hacen más fuertes, más grandes y rudos cada vez que ingieren grasas o nutrientes de otros animales.

Niños del hombre

 En este film, el futuro es totalmente negativo debido a la infertilidad, no poder tener hijos y prolongar la vida humana. Dejando de lado el concepto de inferitilidad, otro aspecto negativo para destacar es la guerra entre los Peces y el gobierno porque estaban en contra. Otro aspecto negativo fue que el hombre mas joven del mundo habia muerto porque habia sido asesinado. Un ultimo aspecto negativo es las bombas y las personas inocentes que se asesinaban. Esas personas ayudaban como el primo del hombre que salvo a Kee y fue asesinado por miembros de "Los Peces". 
En este film ocurre un gueto. "Gueto" significa dejar de lado un lugar (separarse) a la fuerza o no, ya sea comunidad, país o lo que fuera, por causas gobernamentales, cambios que surgen y nos oponemos,motivos religiosos, etc. Obtuve la información de: http://que-significa.com.ar/significado.php?t... . Casos en la vida real que ocurrio un gueto fue en Varsovia, Alemania en el siglo XX (20), año 1939. Estuvieron involucrados los Nazis que crearon guetos para hacer residir a los judios. Estos campos de concentracion fueron llamados "Casas de Judíos". Este campo o gueto se creo para aislar a los judios y porque creian que existia la posibilidad de un mejor control. Otro concepto para destacar era que usaban a los judios encarcelados como una fuente de trabajo sin costo y que pagaban su propia destruccion.

En general esta pelicula estuvo muy buena sinceramente, la recomendaria porque muestra lo que posiblemente podria llegar a pasar en el futuro y es muy entretenida para verla. La parte en que se ve que Kee estaba embarazada fue muy impactante ya que las mujeres eran infertiles y no podian tener hijos. El final es triste ya que Kee se escapa y su amigo muere pero vale la pena verla.

Algo para agregar es que la historia "Todos los soles mienten" es muy similar a esta pelicula porque tienen un futuro negativo, en la historia el sol se apagaba y se iban a morir congelados y en la film no se podia a prolongar la vida humana. De las dos maneras no iba a continuar la vida humana en el planeta.

Excursión hacia La Plata

Esta excursion hacia el Museo De Ciencias Naturales y La Catedral ubicado en La Plata sinceramente me gusto muchisimo porque conoci un monton de cosas nuevas nunca antes vistas personalmente. 
 Lo que mas me llamó la atención en esta excursion fue en el museo donde vi el hombre hace millones de años y actualmente, se notaba una gran diferencia. Otra cosa para destacar en el museo es que habia una gran variedad de insectos y animales petrificado. Sus huesos que llamaban realmente mucho la atencion.
 En la Catedral me gusto mucho como estaban esculpidas las paredes, estatuas afuera, y lo grande y extensa y decorada que estaba. En general me gustó mucho toda la excursion y se podría volver a repetir.

Actividad Lengua

1.Las dos historias transcurren en una oficina. El jefe era antagonista. En el texto los buques le causaban melancolía y no poder estar en esa fantasia. Las causas de la isla desierta y el videoclip por las que el jefe estaba enojado eran diferentes. Las dos tratan sobre las fatantasias del protagonistas. Se pueden asociar los jefes en estas historias, los dos eran antagonistas y “malos” porque se enojaban. En el videoclip y en la historia, no trabajaban los empleado/s. Se podria asociar el protagonista del videoclip con manuel, porque los dos estan desperdiciando su vida en una oficina, el hombre en el videoclip por un misero sueldo, y no disfrutan de la vida.

2. Se podria relacionar en mi opinion con que en los dos casos (en la historia y el videoclip) hicieron practicamente lo imposible para lograr su objetivo, en el videoclip su objetivo era lograr esa fantasia, hacerla real, y en la historia el objetivo era trabajar tranquilo, sin ruidos ni nada por el estilo.

3.La película el mago de Oz se trata de una niña, Dorothy con su perro toto que queda varada en una especie de “ciudad” y quiere volver a su casa. Allí encuentra a sus compañeros de viaje un espantapájaros y un leñador de hojalata. En el transcurso es estafada por un hombre, que le pide que haga diferentes cosas y a cambio la regresaria a su casa. Cuando ella se dio cuenta que podría volver a su casa, el hombre le ofreció que la acompañe en un globo mágico que él había creado. El tiempo pasa y Dorothy pierde su oportunidad de regresar a su casa. Luego encuentra a otra persona que promete ayudarle a volver a su casa. Confía en ella y luego de unos episodios puede regresar. La cancion lleva ese titulo simplemente porque habla de un camino dorado donde se cruza con obstáculos y transcurren diversas situaciones. En mi opinión las dos historias tratan de cosas diferentes.

Evolución Biologica

Ser vivo hibrido: Es un ser vivo que se origina por la cruza de 2 especies diferentes. Es infertil y diferente a lo que enrealidad deberia tener.


Fosil: Es un resto de un ser vivo que vivio hace muchisimo tiempo. Un fosil tambien puede ser una huella, marca, mat fecal, etc que hace muchisimo tiempo lo marco, o lo hiso.






Mamiferos:Se reproduce cada cual con su respectiva especie, es vertebrados, nacen vivos de sus mama y son de sangre caliente.
 













Puedo conectar esto porque surgio un cambio desde esa epoca que los fosiles todavia eran seres vivos y con lo que cambio ahora. Tardaron mucho tiempo en evolucionar tambien de sus antepasados comunes seguramente los animales en las fotos.
